Join us for a cozy PJ Party as we close out a season of stress and finish the semester strong! Enjoy Christmas cookies, snacks, music, games, and a festive movie to end the night. Come celebrate your hard work with good cheer and good friends!

Fun Caribbean and Black American facts:
Kwanzaa is a distinct, complementary celebration: The cultural holiday of Kwanzaa, observed from December 26 to January 1, was created in 1966 to celebrate African American heritage, values, and community. It is not a religious holiday and can be celebrated in addition to Christmas, allowing families to honor their African roots and strengthen communal bonds during the festive season.

Parranda / Parang (Trinidad & Tobago) Groups go house to house singing lively songs with instruments like cuatro and maracas. It’s like Caribbean Christmas caroling with Latin + African rhythms!
