On Saturday 3 students from our CIS department took part in the regional International Collegiate Programming Competition at Johns Hopkins University. They placed 116 our of 160 in the region, answering 2 of the 8 problems. I am truly proud of them!

Well, the International Collegiate Programming Competition is over. The Messiah Falcon White team (Jared Butler and Garrett Reichert) solved 1 of the 8 problems, putting them 5th at the Shippensburg competition site (out of 28) and 66th in the region (out of 185). Well done!

Today, 5 CIS students are participating in the regional International Collegiate Programming Competition. James Gelok, Ben Underwood, Trieu Luu, Jared Butler, and Garrett Reichert are currently familiarizing themselves with the system they will be using for the competition. Then at noon today (Saturday, Nov 10, 2018) they will try to solve as many problems as they can in 5 hours. Good luck gentlement.
