Murray Library is your destination for in-person and online resources and services to assist you in finding relevant information for all your research needs for your courses. It’s a place to meet with friends for a cup of coffee at Café Diem, to work on a group study project, enjoy an inviting spot to study, or get individual research assistance from a librarian. In 1958, the library moved to its
current location. In 1977, the College expanded the library’s physical space even more, accommodating the growth to the library’s current collection of more than 58,000 square feet and over 300,000 print books. The interior of the building was most recently renovated in 2013 and the exterior steps were redesigned in 2020. The library is named for William Lynch Murray, the architect who designed the building, and his wife, Geraldine W. Special collections include the Ruth E. Engle Memorial Collection of
Children's Book Illustration, the W. Jim Neidhardt Collection, the Canadian Literature Collection, and the Artists' Books Collection.
