INDIGENOUS FILMS IN SPANISH

La segunda pelicula de Indigenous Films in Spanish se llama Ixcanul. Es guatemalteca y se filmó en kakchiquel, uno de las lenguas mayas.

La programación de este semestre es interesante ya que incluye películas en tres idiomas indígenas diferentes: en guaraní, en kaqchikel y en quechua. Films in Spanish es una iniciativa cultural del Department of Romance Studies enfocada en temas relacionados con DEIJ en español.
