Peer leaders and departmental staff guide students through a non-competitive, active, yet fun environment over 4 days prior to freshmen orientation. has become very popular over the pas

t decade and continues to grow each year. is an incredibly fun way to meet fellow students, share some great memories, make some unforgettable friends, and connect with upperclassmen who can provide valuable advice on many different aspects of Tufts. is for both athletes and non-athletes alike, and exposes people to plenty of diverse and different ways to get involved at Tufts and be successful at college, no matter what your interests are. also helps relieve the stress or regular orientation by providing students with a gradual introduction to college that really helps get you off on the right foot. is the only pre-orientation program based off of the Tufts campus. During F.I.T. you get to move into your dorm early and familiarize yourself with the campus, Davis Square, attractions/activities in the Boston area, and all of the awesome people involved in F.I.T. is to introduce incoming freshmen to all the ways Tufts can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to help new students take advantage of all of the great resources Tufts has to offer.
