The programs and services of The LGBT Center support the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students, faculty, staff and alumni of Tufts University. Welcome to the stage… our new logo! We worked with the lovely artist Helena Wu to create a logo that better expresses who we are at the LGBT Center. The elephant holds sprigs of lavender, a flower that has long been used as a symbol of q***rness and our fight against oppression. We hope that you love it as much as we do! Keep an eye out for new merch coming soon!

Here is your semester-ly reminder to visit our Gender Affirmation Closet!

The GAC is a resource for trans, nonbinary, and gender-questioning individuals at Tufts University looking for gender-affirming clothing and items in a space committed to advocating for these communities.

With the nonstop legislation attempting to restrict, harm, and isolate trans people throughout the US, resources like this are more important than ever. Visit, take what you need, share what you wish.

The LGBT center is currently accepting submissions for art to be displayed within the center. Students and members of the community are encouraged to submit their art that embodies the mission and cultural identity of the center. 🎨🖼️🖌️🎞️📸

Join us for a panel exploring the forms of kinship often emerge on the inside. Join speakers from TUPIT at Tufts, and Chicago for a panel exploring love, family, and relationality within and beyond carceral spaces.

Masks are highly encouraged! The venue is on the first floor of the building and there are no steps. Auto-captioning will be enabled in-person and on Zoom.

Many thanks to the department of race, colonialism, and diaspora studies, department of sociology, and department of women's, gender, and sexuality studies for making this event possible!
