This spring and summer, senior Klare Hu and recent alum Courtland Priest worked with volunteers from across the country to develop a new ventilator design that could potentially be produced at a fraction of the cost of traditional ventilators. “Tufts had given me the ability to adapt easily across different engineering disciplines,” says Hu. “While I was working with the Ventilator Project, I was reminded a lot of the hands-on experience I had in Brandon Stafford’s class, ME43 Electronics for Mechanical Engineers.”
