Join us for a mentorship book club in Spring 2022 as a part of programming for the Women+’s Mentorship Network. We received Community of Research Scholars (CoRS) funding that covers the cost of the books that will be used in the book club. We will be reading and discussing the themes in these books, covering one book per month:
January 2022: Crawford K, Windsor L. The PhD Parenthood Trap: Caught Between Work and Family in Academia. Georgetown University Press; 2021.
February 2022: Nagoski E, Nagoski A. Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle. Random House Publishing Group; 2020.
March 2022: Brown B. Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts. First Edition. New York: Random House; 2018.
The expectation for participation is that you would read each book and participate in a one-hour book club meeting per month for the three months (January-March 2022).
Please feel free to share this opportunity with your colleagues who might be interested in participating.
To capture your availability and preferences, please complete the following survey by Friday, December 10, 2021: tinyurl.com/mentorship-bookclub
