🌷Soror Tarique Martin is a high school counselor with 19 years of experience in education. She began her career as a middle school math teacher before transitioning into school counseling after the COVID-19 pandemic. In her role, Soror Martin focuses on academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social-emotional support.

In addition to her work as a counselor, Soror Martin enjoys mentoring high school girls through the ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences) group on campus and serves as a mentor with Exquisite Pearls of Excellence, a mentoring organization outside of her professional role. She is deeply passionate about women’s empowerment and is committed to helping young women build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills.

Soror Martin believes in meeting students where they are and providing them with the tools, encouragement, and support needed to thrive both academically and personally.🩷🩵

📚 🩷Giving Back Through Service 🩷📚
Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Alpha Chapter, is proud to share the success of our recent Book Drive in support of the wonderful students at Memphis STEM Academy. Through the generosity of our sorors and community supporters, we were able to donate 75 books along with 40 action figures, helping to inspire learning, imagination, and joy among our future leaders.

We are especially grateful to Soror Stephanie Boyce, one of our very own, who generously donated 8 books as part of this initiative. Her contribution exemplifies the spirit of service and sisterhood that defines Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Incorporated.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, and helped make this effort a success. Your kindness and dedication truly reflect our commitment to scholarship, sisterhood, and service.

February is American Heart Health Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease the leading cause of death in the United States. Heart disease impacts millions of individuals each year, yet many cases are preventable through healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and education.
Zeta Alpha Chapter proudly goes red to support heart health awareness and to encourage our community to:

Maintain a heart-healthy diet

Stay physically active

Manage stress

Know your blood pressure, cholesterol, and heart health numbers
