It is ⭐ Meet our new grad students Thursday ⭐

Allie just started her PhD in the Bretscher lab. Using Drosophila flies, she studies how TGFb activin signaling in muscles regulates carbohydrate homeostasis. She already worked with flies and ants as an undergrad in the Kohlmeier lab. This fall, she is also teaching the Biochem lab 🧪⚗️👩🏾‍🔬

Dr. Shawn Brown and Ph.D. student Kimberly Baldwin are working with regional peach growers to better predict disease risk and make fungicide use more targeted and effective.
