This fall, our English Department invites students to explore the many ways storytelling takes shape across genres β¨
In ENGL 4600: Creative Nonfiction Workshop, students engage with the possibilities of nonfiction through critical approaches, drafting, and revision, transforming lived experience into compelling narrative.
Dr. Eric Schlichβs ENGL 4603: Fiction Workshop focuses on the craft of contemporary short fiction, guiding students through analysis, drafting, and revision as they develop their own stories.
In ENGL 4605: Forms of Fiction, also taught by Dr. Schlich, students return to foundational fairy tales as inspiration, reimagining familiar narratives while exploring how tradition and creativity intersect.
Together, these courses offer a dynamic space for writers to experiment, reflect, and bring new stories to life.
