A Heartfelt Farewell from the TECTA team at Southwest 🌟

As our statewide TECTA program comes to a close today, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you — the incredible childcare educators, children, and families we've had the honor of supporting over the years.

It has truly been our absolute pleasure to walk alongside you on your professional journey — providing training, academic support, and technical assistance. Thank you for welcoming us into your classrooms, your programs, and your lives.

Although our program is ending, our hope for you remains the same: that you continue to grow, succeed, and provide the highest quality care and education for the children and families of Tennessee. Your passion and dedication have always inspired us, and we know your impact will continue to shine for years to come. Farewell, my friends!

We will always remember. ❤️
On this day, 24 years ago, 246 people had boarded planes for their morning flights.
2,606 made their way to work.
343 firefighters started their morning shift.
60 police officers on morning patrol.
8 paramedics going about their morning duty.
None of them would see past 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2001.

Let it remind us how quickly everything can change in a single moment.
Never take a single heartbeat for granted.
