The first week of classes should be filled with excitement, not uncertainty. After severe storms impacted many students as they returned to campus, the Student Emergency Fund is helping provide critical support so Tigers can stay focused on what matters most: their education.

The University of Memphis undergraduate admissions application for Fall 2027 opens on Saturday, August 1, 2026 and we'd love your help sharing the news.

As a proud Tiger, you're one of our most influential ambassadors. Your experiences, your success and your connection to the University inspire future students to see what's possible at Memphis.

If you know a rising high school senior or prospective transfer student, now is the perfect time to encourage them to apply. The application will be available beginning at 8 AM CT on August 1 at memphis.edu/admissions.

For students planning to live on campus, applying early is especially important. Housing assignments are prioritized primarily by the timestamp of a student's admissions application, so submitting an application as soon as it opens can significantly improve their housing options.

If a prospective student is still exploring whether Memphis is the right fit, they can stay connected by completing our Request Information form at memphis.edu/admissions/connect. They'll receive admissions updates, scholarship information, event invitations and resources to help them navigate the college search process.
