On Friday, March 27, CUW NSSLHA is hosting a keynote speaking event for Laura Rowe at noon in the CUW Collaboratorium (RP 127 - right by the Coop)! We will be catering Out and Out mac and cheese starting @ 11:45a!!

This will be an exciting event to learn about how the mission materials drive we participated in made a global impact, what international SLP work is like, hear personal stories from Laura about her experiences, and ask questions! All are welcome to come.

We have our first event of 2026 on January 27 in the Lakeshore Room! We will be writing virtual advocacy letters in preparation for Student Advocacy day (March 5, 2026) - similar to our Apples and Advocacy event. We will also be writing hand written letters to both WSHA speakers and CUW professors to thank them and tell them how much we appreciate them and the work they do for the future SLPs and AUDs!!

Materials Drive alert!!!

Our NSSLA chapter has an amazing opportunity! One of our graduate clinical instructors has been selected to travel to India on a mission trip. Since she is the only SLP going on this trip, she has decided to dedicate a full checked bag of supplies to leave at an orphanage. We, as a NSSLHA chapter, have decided to organize a materials drive for this mission trip!

We pray for her safe travels as her and her team serve.

This drive will continue through mid-January, so you can also think about this through break! Reach out with any questions!
