We encourage an atmosphere which will foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility and to develop in them the best qualities of character. Delta Gamma’s primary purpose is to create an environment for its members in which lasting friendships are established and in which members find the processes, the experiences and the disciplines that will stimulate clear thought. Its aim is to foster an atmosphere in which women will develop a deeper love and consideration for mankind, a more profound understanding of the purpose of life and a basic wisdom upon which to build their lives.

Through our Delta Gamma Foundation we support our members’ academic endeavors with undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships, and interest-free loans. Our national philanthopy, Service for Sight, allows us to make a difference in the protecting the gift of sight. Since 1936, Delta Gamma's philanthropic purpose has been to stop blindness before it starts.

Our last goes to our gorgeous Sister ! ✨

"Hi! my name is Lori Honorato, and I am a part of the spring 2023 class.

One of my favorite memories in Delta Gamma was big/little and getting picked up by my amazing big. From the very beginning, she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed, especially with her being a full blown extrovert and me being much more on the quiet side. That moment really set the tone for the kind of support and sisterhood I found in DG.

Looking back, I never pictured myself joining a sorority, but I’m so glad I did. Being in Delta Gamma helped me come out of my shell, become more confident, and open myself up to new experiences and friendships. I’ve grown so much personally, and I’m thankful for the memories, laughs, and lessons that came with it.

After graduation, I plan to pursue graduate school and get more hands-on experience in the psychology and nursing field as I continue to explore my path in helping others. ITB, Lori 🤍"

Today's goes to our gorgeous Sister ! 💗

"Hi! My name is Gracie Jaime, and I was initiated as part of the spring 2022 class! ⚓️

One of my greatest memories in DG was meeting my big Marcy and extending our family by picking up my little Alma. These girls mean so much to me and have impacted my life tremendously. I also loved all the sisterhood events I could experience with other sisters and the lasting memories I will forever cherish. Being in DG has shown me the true meaning of sisterhood, and I will miss the lively atmosphere that my sisters created.

After graduation, I plan on attending grad school and getting my masters in public
policy. I have several offers but I am still deciding where to go! I am excited to embark on this new journey but will miss the bonds I created in Merced.
