Merced College will be launching a truck driving training program this semester! "Merced College would love to eventually have people banging down the door to get into its new truck driver training program. It is a perfect time for the college to launch this noncredit (read: free) program. Pay for truck drivers has increased during the pandemic. There are well-paying jobs to be had." Attention: Out of an abundance of caution, due to the high winds and numerous fallen trees on campus, Merced College will be closing all campus locations for the remainder of the evening. This includes all activities, classes, contractors, and employees working onsite. The high-wind advisory is in effect from late this evening through tomorrow morning at 5:00 AM.
