We are looking for participants for a paid TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) study. If you participate in this study, you will undergo TMS, a brief, safe but somewhat uncomfortable procedure in which a targeted brain region is temporarily influenced by magnetic brain stimulation. Specifically, the stimulation procedure takes 40 seconds, and some individuals find this brief experience to be somewhat uncomfortable as it can cause scalp muscles to contract.
The pre- screening and experiment will take 1 hour and you will receive $15 and 2 SONA credits. Please see detailed description below to see if you pass the pre-screening for this study. If you would like to participate but would first like to hear more about how TMS works or have any other questions, please contact the researcher [email protected]
You may participate if you cannot answer yes to any of the questions below:
1. Are you younger than 18 years old?
2. Do you have a pacemaker or intracardiac lines?
3. Do you have any metal/electrical/magnetic objects implanted in your body except dental fillings?
