🎉 Spotlight on Success! 🎉

Congratulations to current DAT student Jen Vanderschaegen on helping achieve a significant improvement in athletic trainer compensation within the Grossmont Union High School District!

Through her advocacy and collaboration with district leadership, the school board approved increased funding that raises hourly compensation for ATs from $35 to $73/hr, expands coverage hours, and provides dedicated time for after-school evaluations and treatment. While Jen is quick to recognize the collective effort behind this accomplishment, her leadership and commitment to advancing the profession helped build momentum for meaningful change.

We're proud to celebrate Jen's dedication to improving opportunities for ATs and the care they provide to student-athletes. Congratulations on making a lasting impact! 👏💙
