Statement from Michael Mike Horne

To the residents of Miami Gardens, my supporters, and the entire community:

I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Katrina Baskin on her victory in the race for City Council Seat 1. The people of Miami Gardens have spoken, and I am confident that Katrina will serve our community with dedication and passion.

Running for this seat has been an incredible journey, one that I could not have undertaken without the unwavering support of my friends, family, and all of you who believed in my vision for a better Miami Gardens. I am deeply grateful to everyone who volunteered, donated, and encouraged me along the way. Your support means more to me than words can express.

While this race may be over, my commitment to Miami Gardens remains as strong as ever. I will continue to work for the betterment of our community, and I look forward to finding new ways to contribute to our city's growth and success.

Thank you once again for your support and encouragement throughout this campaign. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for Miami Gardens.

Campaign Update:
Friends and family, we're in the final stretch before election day, and the race is tight. I'm currently down in the polls, but I'm not giving up. I entered this campaign because I care deeply about our community and want to make a real difference.

This journey has shown me that while many of us are quick to voice our concerns, taking action is what truly matters. We talk about supporting our own—now is the time to prove it. Just recently, I saw a post about issues in Miami Gardens that got a lot of attention, yet some of those same voices may not even know that I'm running to address those concerns.For those who know me, you know my dedication to Carol City. And for those who may not, I've always been about our community.

The race isn’t over yet. Even if you don’t live in District 1, you know people who do. Please, spread the word—VOTE FOR MIKE HORNE.It’s time to move from talk to action. No one will stand up for us but us. Vote for someone from the community, for the community.
