NEO will be closed 2-17-22 out of an abundance of caution. A Winter Weather Advisory for our region is in effect until 6 PM due to freezing temperatures and wintry mix changing to snow during the day. Slippery road conditions are expected. The Student Activity Center and food service will remain open for student use.

The Winter Storm Warning continues through midnight tonight with additional snow fall expected. NEO classes and offices will remain closed for Thursday, February 3, 2022. Campus status for Friday, February 4 remains to be determined. If campus remains closed for Friday, classes will shift to remote instruction. A Rave Alert will notify you of the change and direct you to your NEO email account and Canvas for updated information from your instructors.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will cancel classes for Wednesday, February 2, 2022 based upon forecasted weather conditions associated with the Winter Storm Warning that goes into effect at midnight tonight. Travel conditions could be impacted overnight and through the morning commute with more widespread wintry precipitation expanding across the region throughout the day.

Out of abundance of caution, all offices for the Miami and Grove campuses will be closed. Essential campus operations for students who live on campus will remain open, including campus dining and student activity center.

NEO will continue to monitor the winter weather and provide additional campus announcements, as necessary, using text messages through Rave Alert System, the college website (neo.edu) and NEO Email.
