On Tuesday December in MARC 290, the Pride Center is hosting its second Listening Session as an opportunity for conversation and dialogue about the presence and legacy of the Pride Center at FIU. 🌈
By gathering all students, staff, faculty, stakeholders, and community partners, we will discuss how we want to see the center to grow, what everyone remembers about the memory of the Pride Center, and what everyone would like for the new Program Manager to know about the center.
A significant part about the listening session is for the Program Manager to hear from the community about their needs, concerns, and desires to ensure that the center is adhering to its mission, values, and purpose. Additionally, the listening session would allow for sharing of intended plans and ideas for how the center can continue to move forward through uncertain times.
