It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jorge Valdes, DNP, CRNA, APRN, FAANA and Lynne Richard, PhD, OT/L, FAOTA to the NWCNHS Leadership team. Dr. Valdes and Dr. Richard were named Acting Dean and Interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, respectively, on May 17th.

Dr. Valdes, a nurse anesthesia practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, joined the NWCNHS five years ago as a Clinical Assistant Professor and served most recently as Chair of the FIU Department Nurse Anesthesiology.

Dr. Richard, a 10-year veteran of the College who previously served as Chair of FIU OT Dept, is bringing 45 years of leadership, teaching, and research excellence to her new role.

Our students, faculty and staff look forward to achieving new goals and enhancing the quality of the learning, teaching and research experience through their inspiration and guidance.
