In Memoriam | Donna McCullough ’56 ❤️
The Barry University Alumni family mourns the passing of Donna McCullough ’56, whose connection to Barry spanned nearly seven decades.
A proud member of the Class of 1956, Donna’s commitment to her alma mater extended far beyond her years as a student. She served on Barry’s Alumni Board of Directors from 1961 to 2005, an extraordinary 44 years of service and leadership.
Donna dedicated her professional life to education, serving for 36 years at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, where she taught generations of young women and was remembered for the warmth, hospitality, and care she extended to those around her.
Her life reflected so much of what we hope a Barry education inspires: a commitment to learning, service, community, and using one’s gifts in service to others.
We are grateful for Donna’s many years of dedication to Barry and for the countless ways she remained connected to the University and its alumni community throughout her life.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Donna’s family, friends, former students, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched.
May she rest in peace, and may her legacy of service live on. ❤️
