As NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration prepares to launch astronauts around the Moon for the first time in more than 50 years, Florida International University graduate Michael Guzman (B.S. Mechanical Engineering '12) is at the center of it all as a main propulsion systems engineer.

From being handpicked for a NASA internship to building his own rocket, Michael turned curiosity into a career and now plays a critical role in the systems powering this historic mission.

He will be in the firing room, working alongside hundreds of engineers to help ensure a successful launch of the Space Launch System rocket for ๐—”๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—œ๐—œ.
