Meet TYLER HADAR '25!

Tyler, an ESAE major, participated in the Design Assembly project at Squam Lake, NH. Alongside 10 students and 7 professionals, he helped design and build a small project for local residents in just 8 days. This hands-on, fast-paced experience gave Tyler a comprehensive view of the entire design and construction process, from ideation and budgeting to assembly.

This past summer, Tom, a Film and Media Culture major, worked as a Productions Intern at MiddKid Productions, the company behind popular shows like The Shield, Timeless, and The Night Agent. Tom audited various parts of production, from writer's rooms to editing suites, and at the end of the internship, he created a pitch for a television show, drawing on everything he learned.

Meet BRIAN LEE '24.5!

Brian, an ESEC major, worked as an Evaluation and Research Intern at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) in Middleton, MA last summer. In this role, he documented energy efficiency program characteristics, assisted with preparing meetings and webinars, and provided administrative support for the team. Brian also contributed to research on how to better measure program effectiveness.

This past summer, Samimah, a Political Science major, worked as a Political Analyst Intern at the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus in Boston, MA. In her role, she helped with outreach to candidates, attended endorsement interviews, supported voter outreach during election seasons, and assisted with key MWPC events. Meet EVELYN RODRIGUEZ '26!

This past summer, Evelyn was awarded an arts grant to serve as Assistant Choreographer for Post Pardon: The Opera at Colby College in Waterville, ME. Throughout the residency, she contributed to the development of choreography and helped bring to life an opera that addresses important themes like Afro-Indigenous herbalism and Black women’s mental health. The project culminated in a work-in-progress showing with a talented team of 16 artists.

This summer, Bryce Charron, a Statistics and Economics double major, worked at a consulting internship with diiVe in Cape Town, South Africa! Over the course of two weeks of virtual training, Bryce developed leadership skills, digital knowledge, and business expertise to help him succeed in a global environment. After the virtual preparation, he applied his learning in person, working on consulting projects for a client in Cape Town, collaborating with hybrid teams, and receiving mentorship along the way.

Her experience, titled "Consulting in the New Normal," combined a two-week immersive course on modern consulting practices with a five-week consulting internship. Meet MAGGIE HARPER '26!

This summer, Maggie, an Environmental Studies/Biology major, worked as a CCI-supported Intern with NOAA at the Kasitsna Bay Lab in Seldovia, Alaska. From ecological data synthesis to oceanographic field surveys, Maggie explored a variety of research opportunities while honing skills across every stage of the research life cycle. Her work included data collection, collaboration with other researchers, and science communication, all in the breathtaking setting of Kachemak Bay.
