A monumental day for York Rite Masonry in Southeastern Ohio as 15 new Sir Knights were knighted into the Order of the Temple during the York Rite College Reunion.

The day began with the conferral of the Magnanimous Order of the Red Cross, followed by the Order of Malta, setting the stage for a truly memorable occasion filled with fellowship, tradition, and dedication to the Craft.

We were honored to welcome REC Mark Bruns, who shared his vision and plans for the coming year in Ohio Royal Arch Masonry. Lunch was held in conjunction with the 13th Capitular District Grand High Priest Reception, where we proudly welcomed MEC Robert Nilsen.

During the reception, REC Oscar Good presented MEC Nilsen with a commemorative woodcut engraving on behalf of the 13th Capitular District — a fitting tribute to mark the occasion and celebrate the continued strength of York Rite Masonry in Ohio.

Following an excellent lunch, our candidates were dubbed and created a Knight Templar in the Magnanimous Order of the Temple.

Congratulations to our newly created Sir Knights, and thank you to everyone who made this outstanding day possible.

Congratulations to the new companions of the 13th Capitular District and the 6th Arch today as part of the York Rite Festival in Athens Masonic Temple. We will resume next Saturday for the three degrees of Commandery.

On this glorious Easter morning, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His triumph over the grave reminds us that light conquers darkness, hope overcomes despair, and life is eternal through Him.

As members of the York Rite, whose teachings are deeply rooted in the Christian faith, we reflect with gratitude on the promise of redemption and the power of resurrection. May this holy day renew our faith, strengthen our charity, and inspire us to walk more faithfully in His light.

The York Rite Bodies of Middleport wish you and your families a blessed and joyful Easter.

We were asked to present the flag at Harrisonville /Pomeroy Racine inspection tomorrow . Commandery members needed. Breakfast is at 9:00am at Harrisonville.

3 new Companions were welcomed into the orders of Most Excellent Master by Logan Chapter #75, followed by Royal Arch by Lancaster Chapter #11. Two of which were from our own chapter. Pictured in the second picture with our Excellent High Priest, Jeff Warner.
