The mission of SUNY Orange Foundation & Alumni Engagement is to raise and distribute funds, build a strong alumni network, and foster lasting ties to our community in order to expand opportunities and support the success of SUNY Orange students. The SUNY Orange Foundation works to ensure that SUNY Orange remains a high-quality, affordable education choice for students of all ages through its extensive Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid programs. You can get involved by making a contribution to the annual fund, giving to the Student Emergency Fund, creating a scholarship, incorporating SUNY Orange Foundation in your will or just giving your time and getting involved.

🏛️ Throwback Thursday | A Historic Beginning

This week, we're stepping back to October 19, 1950, for the dedication of what would become SUNY Orange.

The dedication ceremony marked a milestone not only for the College, but for all of Orange County. Among those participating in the historic occasion was Governor Thomas E. Dewey, whose presence underscored the importance of expanding access to higher education in New York.

More than seven decades later, the vision celebrated that day continues through the thousands of students, alumni, faculty, staff, donors, and community members who have helped shape SUNY Orange into the institution it is today.

🩻 Throwback Thursday | Inspiring Curiosity

This week, we're looking back to November 1998, when children from the KinderCollege visited the SUNY Orange Radiologic Technology Department for a special behind-the-scenes learning experience with Professor Robert Misiak.

From exploring new ideas to asking big questions, experiences like these have long sparked curiosity and introduced young learners to the many exciting opportunities available through higher education.

It's a wonderful reminder that learning can begin at any age, and sometimes all it takes is one memorable visit to inspire a future career.

This week, we're stepping back to 1962 with this touching moment featuring two SUNY Orange nursing students providing care to one of their youngest patients.

For generations, SUNY Orange has prepared compassionate healthcare professionals through hands-on learning experiences that combine knowledge with kindness. While healthcare has evolved over the decades, the commitment to caring for others has remained at the heart of the Nursing program.

We're proud of the countless SUNY Orange nursing graduates who have gone on to serve patients, families, and communities throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.
