🚗 The 63rd Northwood University International Auto Show is gearing up to be one of the biggest yet!

With historic sponsor participation, a brand-new main stage, expanded motorsports displays, family-friendly activities and an incredible lineup of vehicles, this year’s student-led show will offer something for everyone. More than 300 Northwood students are helping bring the event to life while gaining hands-on experience and building connections with automotive industry leaders.

This year’s theme, “Northwood Drives America,” celebrates America’s 250th anniversary and the automotive industry’s impact on innovation, enterprise and culture.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, Northwood University invites our campus and surrounding community to come together in remembrance.

Dr. Scott Warner shares more about Northwood’s 9/11 memorial events and the importance of honoring this day. On Thursday, September 10, he will also present “102 Minutes That Changed Our World,” sharing his personal connection to September 11 and reflecting on the events that forever changed our nation.

Through remembrance, reflection and education, we honor the lives lost, the courage and sacrifice shown that day, and the first responders and military personnel who continue to serve.

🔥 FIXED OPS IS TAKING THE BIG STAGE AT NORTHWOOD UNIVERSITY!

On Friday, September 18, the Fixed Ops Roundtable is coming LIVE to the Northwood University International Auto Show in Midland, Michigan!

We’re teaming up with Northwood’s Center for Automotive & Mobility Studies (CAMS) for a full day centered around the future of automotive retail, industry insight, and real conversations with leaders from across the automotive world.

Happy Labor Day from Northwood University!

On September 11, we invite our community to walk through a powerful tribute honoring the 2,977 lives lost 25 years ago.

In partnership with the Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition, Northwood University’s Silent Memorial Walk will feature:
Actual-size footprints of the Twin Towers
Footprints representing the planes and Pentagon
Memorial markers honoring those lost
An American flag display

The tribute continues inside Hantz Stadium with an optional stair climb and the names of those lost displayed on the video board.

The memorial will remain open throughout the weekend for reflection.

Northwood professor, author, educator and speaker Dr. Scott Warner will present 102 Minutes That Changed Our World: A Personal Reflection on the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

As a Gold Star father, Dr. Warner brings a deeply personal perspective to the legacy of 9/11 and the generation called to serve in the years that followed.

Last night, the Northwood community came together for our Red Bandanna Game to honor the life and legacy of Welles Crowther. ❤️

Known as “the man in the red bandanna,” Welles displayed extraordinary courage and selflessness on September 11, 2001.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we are proud to keep his story alive and reflect on the powerful example he set of character, courage and living with purpose.

Thank you to everyone who wore a red bandanna and joined us in remembering Welles, honoring the lives lost and recognizing the heroes who emerged that day.
