At Northwood University, freedom has been a central theme as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary through our Freedom Lights the Future initiative.

Now, our Northwood community has another way to celebrate freedom!

Launching TODAY! Our limited-edition Freedom Lights the Future apparel collection was designed to honor America’s 250th anniversary with timeless, patriotic pieces you can wear throughout this historic year and beyond.

President MacDonald is preparing to celebrate one of your biggest accomplishments yet on Saturday, May 9, 2026! 🎓🐺

Northwood University’s Spring 2026 Commencement will feature three ceremonies at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. as we honor the hard work, perseverance, and achievements of our graduating Timberwolves. All three ceremonies will take place at the Hach Student Life Center and will be livestreamed for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.

Your Northwood journey has led to this moment and we’re ready to cheer you across the stage!
