The Lakeside Lab Artist-in-Residence program is part of the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory Regents Resource Center biological field research station located in the Natural Lakes Region of Northwest Iowa. The 143-acre lakeshore campus is an environmental education facility, an active research station and host for summer courses in field biology and lake ecology. Artists’ residencies provide unique opport

unities for artists, musicians, and composers to create their work within an ecologically-minded community. Applications are accepted annually between January 15th and March 15th. Artists working in diverse media are especially encouraged to apply.
