[Online Lecture: The Brain Under Attack ⿑來認識腦中風]

Stroke is currently the second most common cause of death globally and affects one in four adults. About a third of stroke survivors have significant disability and one in five will have cognitive impairment. In this interactive lecture supported by science that is easily understandable by the general public, the speaker will illustrate what happens to the brain during a stroke. The causes, symptoms, investigations, treatment and rehabilitation of strokes will also be discussed.

目前，中風是全球第二最常見的死亡原因，影響著四分之一的成年人。大約三分之一的中風倖存者有嚴重殘疾，其中五分之一更患有認知障礙。是次講座將由科學角度出發，以大眾又易於理解的互動形式去講解大腦於中風期間會發生的變化，亦會討論中風的成因、癥狀、診斷、治療和康復護理。
