Since we launched The Honeybee Death Café back in February of 2024, our monthly gatherings at The Lotus Center in Millcreek have shown us just how deeply our community needs open, honest, and compassionate spaces to talk about mortality.
What started as a small dream among a passionate group of local doulas has grown into a vital sanctuary. Every last Wednesday of the month from 6–8 PM, we gather to share deep conversations, comfort one another, and enjoy traditional or vegan dinners alongside our signature Cream Cheese Banana Bars. 🥧🌱
To keep these circles completely accessible, we operate on a strictly donation-based model. But now, we are ready to take our next big step, and we need your help to reach a goal of $5,000!
Our official GoFundMe page is currently going through its standard security review, but we are officially accepting launch donations directly via Venmo right now so we can keep moving forward!
This fundraiser will directly allow us to:
1️⃣ Officially establish our formal non-profit organization.
2️⃣ Fund our comforting dinners, treats, and safe venue spaces.
3️⃣ Start brand new cafés across the Wasatch Front so we can help and reach more people from Salt Lake to Provo and beyond!
No matter the size, every single donation brings us closer to securing a sustainable future for these doula-facilitated spaces.
