Talk about a lifelong Bobcat! As a Milledgeville native, Morgan grew up on our campus, attended the Georgia College Early College program in Kilpatrick Hall, and graduated with her bachelor's degree in Psychology at just 19 years old.

Now, she’s bringing that lifetime of GCSU love to the next generation of students as our new Senior Admissions Counselor! In her role, she oversees regional recruiters, coordinates dual enrollment recruitment, and co-supervises our Council of Student Ambassadors.

For Morgan, the absolute best part is recruiting right here in Middle Georgia. "My former middle school students are now starting dual enrollment at GCSU," Morgan shared. "It’s a complete full-circle moment!"

From late-night tennis matches by Centennial Center to leading application workshops across Southwest Georgia, Morgan’s journey is a beautiful testament to the power of the GCSU community and the support of mentors like Javier Francisco, Rachel Horn, Nikki Simpson, and her mom, Tammie Burke. Way to go Bobcat!

Exciting news for the Georgia College & State University community!

To streamline operations and maximize support for our students, the GCSU Foundation Board of Trustees and the GCSU Alumni Association Board have unanimously voted to integrate into one unified strategic unit, operating under the GCSU Foundation, Inc.

By combining forces, the Foundation’s managed assets and endowment will approach $80 million—significantly strengthening our ability to fund critical resources for students, faculty, and institutional priorities.
