The 2026 spring break tour for Concert Choir and Heritage will be here soon, and we will be traveling to Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Western Tennessee! Along the way, our vocal ensembles will present a concert titled “Shelter in a Time of Storm”, performing a variety of songs that explore God’s provision and protection through the storms of life.

Selections sung by the Concert Choir include “The Lord is My Shepherd” by John Rutter, “All Things New” by Elaine Hagenberg, and an arrangement of “Great Day” by Stacey V. Gibbs. In addition, the Heritage set includes “His Eye is on the Sparrow”, arranged by Ben Bram, “Espiritu de Dios” by Brian Tate, and “River” by Jordan Feliz.

The tour itinerary includes these events:

Sunday, March 8 – 10:15 and 11:45 am worship services at Lakeview Christian Church (Garland, TX)

Sunday, March 8 – 7:00 pm concert at Broadway Baptist Church (Fort Worth, TX)

Monday, March 9 - 2:00 pm concert at StoneGate Christian Academy (Irving, TX)

Monday, March 9 - 7:00 pm concert at Cornerstone Christian Church (Farmers Branch, TX)

Tuesday, March 10 - 7:00 pm concert at Pathway Christian Church (Bartlesville, OK)

Wednesday, March 11 - 7:00 pm concert at Park Plaza Christian Church (Joplin, MO)

Friday, March 13 - 7:30 pm concert at First Methodist Church (Jackson, TN)

Sunday, March 15 - 8:15 and 10:30 am worship services at Calvary United Methodist Church (Nashville, TN)

Sunday, March 22 - 3:30 pm concert at Seeger Memorial Chapel (Milligan, TN)

Meet the Cast!

Ariana Floyd (Ellie) is a senior Graphic Design major and a double minor in Musical Theatre and Photography at Milligan University. She is also apart of Heritage, Women’s Chorale, and Concert Choir. Her favorites shows include The Marvelous Wonderettes (Betty Jean) and Sunday in the Park with George (Celeste #2). When not on stage you can find Ariana crocheting with her friends or reading a book. She’d also like to give a special thanks to her parents for their love and support. Ariana is so excited for her first lead role… hold on tight cause things are about to get freaky!

Katie Freeman (Katherine) is thrilled to be back on the Milligan stage as a mom for the second time, having previously played Marmee in Little Women and SMEE in Peter Pan & Wendy. A proud Georgia Tech alum and a current MDiv student at Emmanuel Christian Seminary, she hopes to one day combine her love of theater and ministry. When not on the stage she loves to read, hike, and play board games. Katie is especially grateful for her family who ‘Busted’ out the travel miles to see the show, the ‘Freaking’ awesome cast and crew, and her incredible husband Andrew who loves and supports her ‘Today and Everyday.’

Juliana Harold (Hannah) is a sophomore at ETSU studying Musical Theatre and Elementary Education with a minor in Dance. She hopes that you all enjoy the show!

Reese Drayer (Fletcher) is ten years old and lives in Johnson City, TN. He has locally appeared in “A Christmas Story” and “The Sound of Music.” He would like to shoutout his friends and family!

Sallie Hatfield (Gretchen) is a sophomore studying Musical Theatre at Milligan University! Recent credits include “Little Women” and “The Marvelous Wonderettes Caps and Gowns 58.”
