Georgia Theta Pi - a Marietta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Beta Sigma Phi International (ΒΣΦ) is a non-academic sorority with 200,000 members in chapters around the world. Education level is not relevant to membership.

GA Theta Pi Chapter is located in Marietta, Georgia (in Cobb County). Theta Pi chapter is one of seven Metro Atlanta Council Beta Sigma Phi chapters located in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. MAC chapters are located in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, and Cobb counties. Two chapters offer evening meetings, and five chapters offer daytime meetings. Membership is open to women over 18 years of a

During the month of August, Theta Pi sisters collected and donated clothing (infant, toddler, children and teen), disposable diapers, books, toys, puzzles, shoes, jewelry, hair accessories, personal care items, school supplies and more for The Bloom Closet in Rome (GA).

The store serves children in foster care and kin care, as well as helping families in emergency situations (such as fires). All“shopping” is free. Items donated were new or “like new” and included clothing for both warm and cold weather, plus items for holidays such as Halloween 🎃, Thanksgiving 🦃 and Christmas 🎄.

Special thanks to the following Theta Pi chapter donors: Pat Mitchum & family, Judy Conway & her neighbor, Gwen Parker, Shirley Mensching, Jasmine & Kevin Garrett (Jasmine is a BSP sister “at large” & Kevin is a Theta Pi Envoy), and Nancy & Raymond Garrett (Raymond is also a Theta Pi Envoy.)

Theta Pi sisters Norma Bean, Sue Alexander, Shirley Mensching, Judy Ann Conway and Gwen Parker pose on the 'red carpet" at the historic Strand Theatre where they enjoyed a performance by the "Redneck Tenors". Their night at the theatre was followed by a delicious dinner on Marietta Square. Fun!

Some Metro Atlanta Council sisters pose for a photo at The Olive Garden Restaurant in Roswell following the "Beginning Day" meeting on August 5th. Among the topics for the evening were the 2026-27 budget, progress on activating a GA state-wide network for active chapters, reviewing an inventory of donated sorority jewelry available to chapters, distribution of a draft for member chapter approvals of the revised bylaws, standing rules and luncheon guidelines for MAC, and an update on the North Georgia Christmas Luncheon & Bazaar that is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th at The Ridges in Hiawassee, Georgia.
