On April 19th, come see our very own Alverno student's performance! "She Writes in Secret" is a spoken word and movement showcase that celebrates the works of Drea. The showcase will feature a collection of poetry that explores themes of self-discovery, perseverance, and finding beauty in the midst of chaos. Her poetry is a culmination of her thoughts and discoveries as a young woman, as she makes connections to her past, pains, familial relationships, and aspirations. Following the showcase, there will be a 15-minute talkback.
