👏 Alumna Emma Fecteau has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to serve as a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Taiwan for the 2026–27 academic year!

Fecteau graduated from Marquette University Graduate School with a Master’s in English in 2025 and has a demonstrated commitment to teaching, having worked as a teaching assistant at Marquette and in her current work as an adjunct instructor at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

👏 Congratulations to Indunil K. Piyankarage, a fourth-year doctoral student in the Biochemistry program in Marquette University Chemistry, for being awarded the Dr. John J. Eisch Fellowship for 2025-2026 academic year!

Originally from Sri Lanka, Piyankarage conducts research under the mentorship of Dr. Nicholas J. Reiter, focusing on the molecular interactions that drive Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.
