UWM faculty and students attended the Rhetoric Society of America convention. Among the highlights were when Cassandra Hightower won the prestigious Gerard A. Hauser Award for outstanding student paper and Iruoma Ezumba presented her research on Black women in politics (pictured here).

Last Thursday, students in COMMUN 902 talked about their experiences collaborating this semester on an interview project with GiGi's Playhouse Milwaukee. The panel, which included Sara Van Deurzen, Operations Director at GiGi’s Milwaukee (and UWM alum) was part of the UWM Center Student Experience and Talent’s Presentation of Learning at the union. It was great!
