What is Hispanic Heritage Month and why is it celebrated?
“Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.” (Census.gov)
-September 15th celebrates the independence of several countries such as, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. 🇨🇷 🇬🇹 🇭🇳 🇳🇮
-September 16th celebrates the independence of Mexico. 🇲🇽
-September 18th celebrates the independence of Chile. 🇨🇱

In an effort to archive fashion pieces and digitize for the world to see and learn from. We present to you our Fashion Hispanic educators. Featuring designers like Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.
