MSOE FIRST

MSOE FIRST is a FIRST support organization for teams in the Milwaukee area. We mentor FRC and FTC teams, as well as organize and volunteer at FIRST events.

MSOE FIRST is a FIRST support organization. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a program founded by inventor Dean Kamen in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. MSOE FIRST works to support the various robotics programs established by FIRST by mentoring teams of younger students in our area. We also organize and volunteer at FIRST competitions and events. Come join us for our very last meeting of the year in L308 from 12PM to 1 PM (free hour) this Friday 5/4! Officers will be bringing FREE FOOD for everyone to enjoy while we elect the officers for next year.

At this meeting we will be discussing some very exciting new changes for MSOE FIRST, including Robot in 3 Days, conferences, and a new mentoring structure for our members!

MSOE FIRST made an appearance at the FTC event run at the kern center this past weekend! The teams we mentored competed to the best of their ability and 2/3 teams were in the top 10! Thanks MSOE for hosting!

MSOE FIRST goes to local Milwaukee schools and mentors FTC and FLL. We even got to meet with FIRST President Don Bossi and STEM Advocate Jay Flores!
