SOC Alumni, Adora Land, who graduated in 2011, was named as a 40 under 40 honoree for her work as a grant-making director for St. Paul-based Bush Foundation.

Land oversees multimillion-dollar investments that drive leadership, equity, innovation, and systems change in the Midwest, specifically Minnesota and the Dakotas, as well as the 23 Native Nations that share the same geography.

This award, given out by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal, recognizes young business leaders for their professional accomplishments and community involvement.

Professor Warren was the lead author & researcher of a groundbreaking article that was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS)

The results of this study found that fluoride in drinking water during childhood has no effect on cognition and brain function in later life.

The new research is the first to measure community water fluoridation exposure during childhood and any potential impact on cognition up to age 80.
