Great airport experiences start before passengers enter the terminal. The new, Alliiance-designed curbside canopy at Clinton National Airport improves the passenger experience by providing a welcoming, functional arrival space while supporting efficient curbside operations.

As part of Securian Financial's downtown St. Paul transformation, Alliiance designed a new fitness center alongside strategic workplace renovations to enhance the employee experience.

The new fitness center offers:
• Modern fitness equipment
• Pickleball courts
• Secure bike storage
• Recovery amenities, including hydrotherapy and cryotherapy beds

The project also modernized office floors, shared amenities, and collaborative workspaces, creating a dynamic and engaging environment that supports the evolving needs of today's workforce.

Securian employees have been called back to work in person at least three times per week, and they’ve returned from remote work to find flexible seating arrangements with better access to sunlight, private work pods and new amenities.

Planning for the future of higher education starts with bringing the right voices together.

As a firm deeply involved in higher education planning and design, we are excited to support the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) 2026 Annual Conference as it comes to our hometown this summer.
Alliiance’s Amanda Aspenson and Dan Boivin will be leading a walking tour of downtown Minneapolis on Sunday, July 19. Anna Pravinata, Nina Ebbighausen, Jessica Kraft, Deb Gil, and Ernesto Ruiz-Garcia, will also be attending the conference and look forward to connecting with everyone.

Alliiance is hosting the 2026 AIA Minnesota Leadership Forum Cohort at our Loring Park office. The six-month intensive program is an incredible opportunity offered by AIA Minnesota to develop future design leaders through leadership skill building.

Alliiance team members, Aishwarya Karunanidhi and Rula Shadid are part of the 2026 cohort. And Alliiance Principal, Anna Pravinata, is co-advising the cohort alongside Todd Grover from MacDonald & Mack Architects.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Terminal 1 Operational Improvements Program has been named a 2025 Finance & Commerce Top Project! 🌟

This multi-year, multi-phase project transformed key areas across Terminal 1 from the ticketing hall and security checkpoints to baggage claim and curbside.

In collaboration with numerous project partners, Alliiance led planning and design of the project to create a smoother, more enjoyable journey for every passenger.

Congratulations to WSB, Three Rivers Park District, and the entire team for receiving a 2026 ASLA-MN Merit Award for the Mississippi Gateway Regional Park project!

Sunshine, sketching, and a little sightseeing! ☀️
Alliiance’s Amber Sausen and Urban Sketchers Twin Cities were back at Doors Open Minneapolis this year, hosting two morning sketch walks. Visiting the MacPhail Center for Music and Hennepin Arts Pantages Theatre, it was an energizing weekend sketching some of the city’s most amazing spaces.
