Meet Jinda!

A recent UMN alumna from Monticello, MN, Jinda graduated in 2026 with a degree in Business & Marketing Education

She now works part-time at a nail salon while growing her own nail business, BeautyByJinda | MN Nail Artist

Her marketing background has helped her understand consumer behavior, connect with her audience, and build her brand. Now, she’s combining her passion for nails and business to turn her skills into something of her own!

Shoutout to our Fall 2026 Applied Experience Panelists! 🍁
In OLPD 3609 each semester student speakers join in to talk about their applied experience (OLPD 4696) and how they’ve brought their OLPD learning into the real world. Our panelists were able to share how OLPD has shaped their growth and career paths.

Meet Ally Maus!
A Spring 2026 graduate, Ally majored in HRD and minored in Family Social Science. She Completed her Applied Experience requirement through the UMN - School of Public Health as their HRD Intern.

Meet Bright Deku!
A future Spring 2027 graduate, Bright is majoring in BME and is pursuing the Sales Certificate. He completed his Applied Experience requirement through Curbside Waste as a Sales Representative.

Meet Justine Berg!
A future Fall 2026 graduate, Justine is majoring in HRD and minoring in HRIR. She completed her Applied Experience requirement through Weiss Builders as their HR Intern.

Meet Kendall Lewis!
A future Spring 2027 graduate, Kendall is majoring in HRD. She completed her Applied Experience requirement through Cambria as their Learning & Development Intern.

A future Spring 2027 graduate, Zahur is majoring in BME and minoring in Communication Studies. She completed her Applied Experience requirement through the Minnesota Department of Transportation as their HR Intern.
