Come celebrate Pi(e) day with CCGS during our annual pie baking contest! Pie eating will take place from 10:30am-noon this Tuesday, March 14 in Smith 117/119. Donations will be collected for the Nutritious U Food Pantry.

CCGS would love to see you at one of our two upcoming events! This Friday (7/22), we will be having a “Winter in July” themed coffee hour with wintery puzzles and crafts in Smith 117/119 from 4-5 pm. ❄️ Next Tuesday (7/26), we will be hosting our annual department picnic at noon location TBD. ☀️

We know it’s been a while, so come join CCGS this afternoon from 2:30-3:30 in front of Smith for some much needed social time. Come for the iced tea and cookies, stay for the conversation. We will have plates and cups, but bring a reusable plate and cup if you have them. See you soon!

Hello everyone!

CCGS will be hosting trivia on Friday May 14th at 7 pm! If you already signed up, no need to sign up again. If you signed up previously but the new date does not work for you, please contact Claire Dingwell ([email protected]) or Katherine Jones ([email protected]).

If you have not signed up yet, please fill out the following Google Form. You may form a team with friends if you'd like, or meet new people in the department by having us place you on a team. If you choose the former, please discuss with all the team members and decide on a team name and team captain. We need every person in each team to fill out the form, even if you're not the captain. Please fill out the form with the link below if you're playing trivia, even if someone in your team has already signed up. You should sign up with your team name, so we know who is on which team.

Please limit your team to 6 people. Your team may include people outside the chemistry department if you want to play with family or friends, but please make sure your team has at least one member of the chemistry department! Signups will close May 14th, at noon.
