Thank you again to each of you who made a huge impact on . Through our sisters, families, other students and friends, Phi Mu Fraternity collectively raised $11,210. During , Phi Mu Fraternity is supporting millions of kids treated at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals just like Zion. Zion captures attention with his trademark smile. With a constantly positive attitude – even when in excruciating pain from the sickle cell disease he bravely battles– he lights up the room with his warm personality.

Zion has a service-focused heart, finding joy through supporting his hospital’s fundraisers, and going door-to-door in his neighborhood in search of someone needing help with chores so he can donate his time. He knows this is a life-long condition and works to make the best of it, armed with a better perspective than most on where true happiness begins.

CMN Hospitals donations support the pediatric cancer and blood disorders program for recruitment of top physicians, while also supporting research that benefits Zion and enhances his treatment plans.

Phi Mu Fraternity has been a partner of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for 31 years. Through the miracles made and lives changed, our sisters are proud to support sick and injured kids treated at local CMN Hospitals in their communities. Why do we ? To help kids like Laney Kate. When Laney Kate’s parents found out they were having a baby girl, it wasn’t all happy news. Her stomach was forming in her chest with no space for her lungs to grow.

Two days after birth, Laney Kate experienced respiratory failure and was placed on an ECMO machine, which provided her cardiac and respiratory support. Miraculously, after 34 days in the hospital, Laney Kate was the first ECMO patient to leave her hospital with no oxygen support, monitors or feeding tubes. CMN Hospitals funds purchased the ECMO machine that saved Laney Kate’s life by providing her with cardiac and respiratory support.
