IEM joined ATP-Bio at the Minnesota State Fair!

During the fair people had the opportunity to take coloring sheets that showed the ecosystem between IEM and its centers, play a game that explained the cryopreservation work ATP-Bio is doing, and touch hands on 3D prints hearts and brains provided by CNE and VHL.

We're excited to welcome Dr. Michael Loushin back to the University of Minnesota Medical School as Professor & Associate Director of the Visible Heart Laboratories!

Dr. Loushin has deep roots at the university, having completed his medical degree and residency here, and serving as a long-time VHL collaborator.

With the VHL, Dr. Loushin will help drive continued growth in cardiovascular research, medical device innovation, and hands-on education.

Congratulations to Drs. Branden Moriarity and Beau Webber on receiving the 2026 Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund High Impact Research Award as well as the Angel Award!

This double recognition highlights their groundbreaking work developing CRISPR-engineered Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy with the Un-TIL its Cured initiative.
