Meet senior brother Sofiia Oprishko! Sofiia has taken on a wide range of roles across campus, serving as a Carlson Ambassador for two years, a Carlson Crew TA, TA for IDSC3001, Front Desk Student Assistant, and Orientation Peer Leaders Coordinator. We are also so grateful for the specific time and energy she has brought into our Alpha Epsilon chapter, serving as Vice President of Sponsorship and Vice President of Community Service!
Beyond campus involvement, Sofiia has built an incredible professional portfolio. She spent four semesters with Carlson Consulting Enterprise as an Associate Consultant and Principal, worked as an IT Strategy & Agile Transformation Coach with the University of Minnesota’s Office of the Vice President & CIO, and gained experience as a Business Development Consultant Intern at ESP IT and a Data Automation Analyst at Camperoni (Techstars ‘24) for two years. She also contributed as an Associate Consultant with Carlson Ventures Enterprise.
Sofiia is also a trailblazer—she’s a founding member of the Private Markets Group club and the founder of Avantur, an app that helps you save and organize all the places you find online in one easy-to-use spot!! Her hard work has earned her the David R. & Shirley A. Hubers Scholarship and the Sands Family Entrepreneurship Scholarship, along with impressive competition placements including 2nd place at the BMW Kansas University Case Competition, Bain Case Competition finalist, and Accenture Innovation Challenge semi-finalist.
After graduation, Sofiia will be heading to New York City to start her full-time role as a Venture Strategist at EY Foundry! We are so grateful for everything Sofiia has contributed to our chapter and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes next!
