Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great summer! Here is a new opportunity to Develop Your Career This Summer: Join Culture Corps Career STAR!

Activate your summer by joining the Culture Corps Career STAR Program! CC Career STAR is a career skill development program for undergraduate international students. Culture Corps Career STAR stands for Skills, Training, Alumni Networking, and Relationship Building—the four goals of our program.

This program is designed to help students develop the skills needed to obtain internships, jobs after graduation, and/or plan for graduate school. We help students connect to campus resources that support this development. Participation in this program can also support students involved in Culture Corps Projects to make meaning of the skills they have developed, and it can prepare all undergraduate international students for further leadership experiences.

The program is led by Jane Sitter (the UMN International Career Consultant in Career Services) and undergraduate international student Peer Leaders who have participated in the program.

There will be 5 sessions held via Zoom, happening this June and July. To learn more, please review the application at z.umn.edu/Summer21CareerSTAR or email Jane at [email protected].

The last day to apply is June 1st, but we recommend not waiting to apply. We will review applications as they are received, so we may close the application early if we receive enough students.
