Hey there community!
Here is the second survey you can participate in!

Second Study:
"Participation in the study involves completing an online survey each month for a series of 4 months and participants will receive a $5 Amazon Gift card for each survey that you complete, for a total of up to $20 in Amazon Gift cards. Each survey is expected to take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.
There is an initial brief (expected to take 2-3 minutes) screening survey to determine whether participants are eligible to participate. If they are eligible, they will be able to continue participating and complete the first monthly survey. If they are not eligible, they will be thanked for their time and informed they are not able to continue volunteering in the study.
Participants will be assigned a unique Study ID number and we will not collect any identifying information, so the answers will be confidential. Participants will need to remember and enter this Study ID at the start of each monthly survey in order to be granted access.
Those interested in participating should contact our research team at the following email: [email protected]
Thanks in advance for your time, effort, and consideration of this request!
If you have any questions about this study, please contact me at: [email protected]"

Hey there community! We have two studies that students can participate in and get some gift cards for doing them!

First Study:
"The University of North Texas Department of Psychology is seeking participants who identify as LGBTQ+ and are 1) between 18-25 years old, 2) fluent in English, and 3) currently residing in the United States to participate in a research study titled, “Promoting Resilience in Sexual Minority Adults” (PRISMA). The purpose of this study is to understand the relationships between LGBTQ+ experiences, discrimination, and mental health.

Participation in this study takes approximately 30-45 minutes of your time and consists of completing online questionnaires and short-answer responses to questions about LGBTQ+ experiences.

It is important to remember that participation is voluntary. You will receive compensation (an electronic retail gift card) for participation. You may also opt to donate your compensation to an LGBTQ+ charity/non-profit of your choice. If you would like to participate or receive more information, please contact the research team by email at [email protected].

Thank you,

Name: Alana Fondren, M.A. (Student Investigator under the supervision of Sharon Rae Jenkins, Ph.D.)
Email: [email protected]"

If you have the time and energy, then you should consider taking the study!

2020 has been pretty rough for us all - especially LGBTQIA+ students. As a small token of our love, LGBTQIA+ Student Services & QPA have curated 50 care packages for LGBTQIA+ students. We ask that these care packages are prioritized for LGBTQIA+ identified students.

The packages will be given out on a first come first serve basis to current Augsburg students. We will ask you to sign up to get one and then come down to the Auggies Nest to retrieve your package starting, February 2nd! After February 2nd you can come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays to come get your care package!
