UMN School of Public Health Alumni & Friends The School of Public Health has 11,000+ living alumni spanning across the globe who are making impactful impressions on the world of public health.

Founded in 1944, University of Minnesota School of Public Health has graduated over 10,000 alumni who are important members of the school and public health community as they shape public health policy, conduct ground-breaking research, lead innovative public health solutions and contribute to the future of public health. Since its inception in 1982, the School of Public Health Alumni Society has w

orked to serve alumni and students, promote excellence in programs and advance public health efforts in our community and the world. As an affiliate of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, the SPH Alumni Society currently has more than 1,400 members. Membership is open to all graduates, former students who have completed a minimum of 12-18 credits, faculty and administrators of the school.

We're thrilled to share the launch of the new SPH center— the Center for Antiracism Research for Health Equity, supported by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota through a generous $5 million gift! Dr. Rachel Hardeman (PhD '14, MPH '11) created the vision for this center and will serve as its founding director.

The center is dedicated to addressing and uprooting structural racism’s impact on health and healthcare.
